I was honestly worried ordering these because the old saying “you get what you pay for.” I’ve been happy with every shot though. The main lens I wanted was the 70-300mm for zoom shots and I love it. The 28-70mm performs well too. If you are an amateur just looking to expand your camera’s capabilities these are perfect. The only bad thing about these lens’s is they are not the super performance, super expensive ones the pro’s use. This can’t really count against the star count because they are not supposed to be. They are great for the price and if someone can get a better deal I’d like to know about it.
Customer Review: Very good lens kit for the money
I’m just getting started in the DSLR area, and I’m on a very tight budget. I did some research on different lenses, and wanted something that would supplement the kit lens that came with my Canon Xt. I knew I wanted a 70-300 lens, and when I found this set with the 28-70 lens also included, I felt I had found a good buy. I’ve used both lens for a couple of months now, and I’ve been very pleased with both of them. I know they’re not the same as the higher priced lens, but I’m extremely happy with them. They both have a good heavy feel to them, very solid; the auto-focusing works wonderfully, and when I put either lens on the camera, it always feels stable – no play in them whatever. In the future, I may move up to more expensive lens, but I imagine I’ll keep a set of these on hand, as well. They were such a good buy that I can use them while traveling, and won’t have to worry about damaging a high-ticket lens.
