I bought this lens along with the Opteka 52mm 10x HD² Professional Macro Lens Opteka 52mm 10x HD² Professional Macro Lens for Nikon D60, D40, D40X, & D50 Digital SLR Cameras. In side by side comparisons of the pictures from the macro lenses, this one appears to be equal to the task, plus you get the fisheye all for the same price. Though the description of the fisheye notes a 180-degree view, it appears to be SLIGHTLY less than that when using my 18mm setting on my Nikon lens (not complaining, just noting). Overall, I strongly recommend this product if you’re a amateur, even a serious one, looking to get a cheap but sturdy and high quality macro/fisheye.

Hello, if ur reading this then you have probaly have doubts about the Opteka .35 Fisheye as I was. I personally am glad I bought it. Exceeded my expectations. Iv’e Always wanted a fisheye but was not bound to Spend $600+ on one. I use it with a Nikon D40 w/18-55mm. Pics look preety good. you be the Judge here’s my test set.

I had some extra money bought this and was surprised. It’s not a horrible lens but of course it doesn’t have the same quality as the more expensive ones. Bottom line. If you have some extra cash and are just wanting to learn how to use the fish-eye lens buy it, but if you know what your doing go for the more expensive one.

This timer works exactly as it should. It is flexible and has the features one would need to do a variety of timed exposures. It is programmable for both daylight and astrophotography. The only little change I would like is the addition of an on and off switch to save the battery. It remains on all the time if the battery is installed. Since it functions much like a watch this may not be a big deal since watch batteries typically last years. The shipping was realtively quick considering it came from CA to IN.

I bought the TR1CMAC Timer Remote Control for my Canon EOS Digital Rebel Xsi camera to use with my telescope for astrophotography and it works great. It took me a while to figure out how to set it up so the camera could take several time lapsed photos with the mirror-lock setting, but after that it worked.
