Customer Review: Has potential but failed to impress.
I have always enjoyed Nikon projects and have always had a very positive view of their products. I can not say that about this camera. I bought this camera and returned it after using it for about a week. I am shocked that Nikon has released a product that simply doesn’t take good pictures. 90% of the pictures I took with this camera where one of the following: 1) Out of focus 2) Very noisy 3) Colors where wrong With that being said, I did like the 3.0″ LCD touch screen and the overall build of the camera. I would even say that I like everything else about the camera other then the picture quality. I have returned this camera (btw, returning an item to Amazon is very quick and easy.) and replaced it with a Samsung SL820 12MP Digital Camera with 5x Wide Angle Dual Image Stabilized Zoom and 3.0 inch LCD (Black) and I’ve been very very happy with it.
Customer Review: Not impressed!!!
I purchased this camera regardless of the bad reviews. I guess I had to see for myself. Everyone has a different opinion, right? Well, they were right. The camera itself has nice features (touch screen, write and add captions to pictures), but does not justify the quality of the pictures and prints. The LCD is very grainy, often with snow, no matter what settings I used. I kept having to adjust settings every time I took a picture. Who wants to stop every time to make sure they have the correct setting. So, this is not just a point and shoot. I have a high end Canon Rebel XT EOS and just wanted a small digital to keep in my purse. Maybe I’m just spoiled by the quality in my high end SLR. I thought Nikon had been around long enough to produce great products. I was disappointed enough that I boxed it up and shipped it back after two days. I went with the Canon Powershot SD780 IS instead and love it!

Customer Review: Just Exactly What I Was Looking For
I had a fairly specific set of needs while looking for a camera bag: – I wanted a separate compartment for misc. accessories – I like the backpack style design – I needed to put my 15″ MacBook Pro in it – and the camera compartment had to fit my Canon 40D with the 70-200mm 2.8 lens attached. The first three requirement were easy to find, but finding a camera compartment big enough to be able to fit the camera and lens (attached) in it so i don’t have to take off the lens every time I put it away, was a tough job. I got really close with some Kata bags, but in the end this Lowepro has everything I wanted. I’ve been very pleased with it so far (I’ve had it about a month now) – if anything, it’s a little disconcerting to be as excited about the bag as I am about the gear inside. The tripod that comes in the bundle is really geared more toward the weight of a point & shoot – I wouldn’t trust it with my SLR and zoom lens, it’s just too much weight. The cleaning kit is from the bargain bin, but some extra lens cloths and blowers aren’t bad to have around. Not worth paying extra for, but the price for the bundle was the same as it was for the Lowepro bag alone.

Size ok, functionality also. Maybe the blower could have had a filter on the bak air intake to prevent blowing dust. Size of the blower a bit small, wold prefer a bigger one.

I just returned from an extended vacation, anytime I needed a cleaning tool, it was in the kit and in my bag. Cleaning towel was really nice and a great improvement to the little paper wipes usually provided. I also needed the blower and pen as I was swapping lenses all the time and it was right there in my kit. I Like the retractable pen, the previous brush I had got kinked and dirty from being loose in the bag. Good tool set. I took a while choosing this set to make sure that my needs and habits were filled. I recommend this to anyone traveling and taking photos.
