If you shoot sports, concerts this is a perfect addition to your arsenal. The ‘pod is well made though the locks are plastic, extends to a good height and well supplied (has a retractable spike foot and cool case). For the price you cannot beat it. Period. Unless you are a pro, don’t waste money with more expensive brands, this is all you need. Mine is used a few times a year (school sports and concerts). After a couple of years of using it without a head I have recently added a manfrotto tilt head, which cost more than the pod its self!!! But I wanted a quick release, hence the addition. Highly recommended!!!

I’m using the HoodEye on my Nikon D40 Digital camera and really enjoy how clear and bright everything is in the view finder. Don’t hesitate to pucrchase these binoculars. Image clarity and overall lightness make them a “go-to” product for indoor sports viewing, play productions, hiking, camping, birding, etc. Yes, it would be nice if the lens caps were attached somehow but you just can’t beat them for the price.

Customer Review: Great Field Pack
This a good field pack, Its very comfortable. I put in a D80 with Nikon 18-200, Sigma 10-20, Nikon 50mm F1.8 , SB600 and a 3.3 lbs Benro Tripod. I was able to hike for half a day and my back didn’t hurt. The straps are well padded and very well made, I am sure it added to the overall comfort. The overall size is just right for a 5′8 person. The outside tripod support hold the tripod well, however having it outside make it unwieldy to put down the backpack and remove the camera. In my case since I have the Benro travel version. I fold it and place it inside with the camera. At 14.1 inches it fit just right. The only thing that I wished for with this backpack is a notebook case. I vacillated a long while between the FastBAck 250 and the Flipside. Flipside wins because of the comfort, tripod case and All Weather cover. Although the Fastback 250 advertised a notebook case, fast access to your camera. However putting a 13 inch notebook, makes the backpack pretty uncomfortable. Since Fastback is as big as a Flipside 400, it is also too bulky to swing the backpack to get to the camera. The straps also is also not as comfortable as the one in the Flipside.

Bag is very secure with rear opening method, wonderful for trips to larger cities, such as my trip to D/C. very comfortable wearing in large crowds without people being able to go through your bag while back is to them. Wonderful through airport security, did not have to open it despite contents of D300, 2 tele lenses, flash, reader, cards, filters etc. Fit’s in the overhead after security.
